The Denning Law Journal

Founded in 1985 and now published by the University of Buckingham Press The Denning Law Journal has an international editorial board and is expanding to become a quarterly publication. Named after probably the best known judge of recent times, The Denning Law Journal publishes peer reviewed articles in areas dear to Lord Denning’s heart; personal freedom, judicial independence, reform and modernization of the common law. It is therefore fitting to provide an award for the best article on Human Rights and publish it in the Journal to which Lord Denning gave his name.

LexisNexis Butterworths

LexisNexis Butterworths is the UK's leading professional publisher, which for two centuries has been providing the legal, tax and business professions and academia with 'must-have' research and current awareness information. It includes Butterworths, Tolley and irs publications and services. LexisNexis Butterworths was also the publisher of six books written by Lord Denning, starting with The Discipline of Law published in 1979. As Lord Denning’s publisher until his death in 1999, we are proud to be associated with a student prize given in his name.
